Design Strategy & Key Decisions
User Registration & KYC
Flow: Multi-step process with progress indicators and real-time validation.
Decisions:
Added document templates and checklists to reduce errors.
Integrated document validation tools for faster approvals.
Provided submission feedback and live status updates.
Rationale: Reducing friction in onboarding increases conversion rates and compliance accuracy.
Wallet Management
Dashboard Design: Unified overview for both fiat and crypto balances.
Multisig Vault: Approval workflow with progress tracking and in-app/email notifications.
Decisions:
Quick wallet switching for operational flexibility.
Clear visual states for pending approvals.
Security icons indicating multisig-protected wallets.
Rationale: Centralized visibility enhances security, transparency, and efficiency.
Deposits, Withdrawals & Payment Links
Flow: Initiated from a single “Funds” tab with clear transaction tracking.
Decisions:
Transparent display of fees and status notifications.
QR code deposits for crypto and SWIFT instructions for fiat.
Customizable payment links with due dates and currency options.
Rationale: Simplified transaction management reduces user confusion and manual support.
To position the brand effectively, I analysed 10+ startup community websites and identified recurring patterns:
Overuse of saturated gradients and startup clichés.
Poor narrative flow — users struggled to understand “why the community exists.”
Limited emotional connection in the visual tone.
The insight: Founders trust clarity over complexity. The brand needed to speak in a calm, confident, and intelligent tone — positioning Empowered Founders as a partner in progress, not another loud startup club.
