Grats is a digital tipping platform enabling individuals, creators, and businesses to send and receive tips seamlessly across social and content platforms like YouTube, OnlyFans, TikTok, and AllAccess.
The goal was to design a multi-layered experience that balances the needs of end users (givers and recipients), creators and businesses, and administrators/partners:
End Users (Givers/Senders): Quick, secure, and intuitive tipping experience
Recipients (Creators/Businesses): Clear visibility into tips, payouts, and revenue trends
Partners (Platforms/Providers): Analytics and reporting on creator/business performance
Admins: Monitor, verify, and manage platform activity and compliance

Users and creators faced challenges across the tipping lifecycle:
Senders struggled to track their tips and verify receipt
Creators/Businesses lacked a centralized dashboard to view incoming tips and payouts
Platforms/Providers had limited analytics for growth and revenue tracking
Admins needed to ensure compliance, fee accuracy, and efficient payouts
Design Goal: Build a multi-role ecosystem where each user type can accomplish their key tasks intuitively, without overwhelming the interface with irrelevant data.

Key Findings
Users value simplicity and transparency: they need to know exactly what fees are deducted and what the recipient receives
Creators and businesses want real-time visibility of incoming tips and payout schedules
Platforms and providers need aggregated analytics but must also support granular drill-down into individual users or businesses
Admins require auditability and compliance monitoring without compromising the user experience
To position the brand effectively, I analysed 10+ startup community websites and identified recurring patterns:
Overuse of saturated gradients and startup clichés.
Poor narrative flow — users struggled to understand “why the community exists.”
Limited emotional connection in the visual tone.
The insight: Founders trust clarity over complexity. The brand needed to speak in a calm, confident, and intelligent tone — positioning Empowered Founders as a partner in progress, not another loud startup club.

The mark represents gratitude made instant, expressing emotion through a digital action.
